International Distant (on-line) Competition "New Voices, Songs and Arts", Sofia 2026

REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:

Participants in the Distant competition can be: singers, instrumentalists, poets, artists and dancers.

1. Participants in the vocal-instrumental competition can be: choirs, vocal-instrumental ensembles, brass bands, small groups, soloists - singers and instrumentalists with classical, pop, jazz and folklore.

The competition includes:

sections:

* instrumental;

* vocal

performers:

* choirs, groups and ensembles;

* soloists (instrumentalists and singers)

Performers may compete with an audio or video entry in up to two of the following genre categories:

·       author's music;

·       classics;

·       pop;

·       musical / film score;

·       jazz;

·       folklore;

·       song by composer Alexander Saveliev

2. Participants in the art and poetry competition can compete with one of their works (painting or poem).

3. The participants in the dance competition must be soloists. They can compete with one video performance in a hall.

4. Children, youth and adults are eligible to participate in the competition, divided into the following age groups:

I group – 5-8 years

II group - 9 - 12 years

III group – 13-15 years

IV group – 16-18 years

V group – over 19 years

The age of the individual participants is determined by the completed years on the date of the competition. With a large number of participants from a given age group, they are divided into subgroups by year of birth.

The age group for formations and collectives is determined by the predominant number of participants from the respective age group.

5. The competition is held in two stages.

A) First stage:

- until June 5 2026, the following documents from each applicant must be sent to the e-mail of the association "Evterpani" (e-mail: evterpani@abv.bg):

- request for participation and declaration by the parent for the minor participants (download);

- video recording (link uploaded to YouTube or Facebook) for the vocal-instrumental and dance competition. Recordings must be up-to-date and not from other competitions.;

- artists / applicants to send a photo (on a file or a link from a blog or site) of one of their works of fine art;

- poets to send their work (on a file or a link from a blog or site);

- import note / statement for transfer of participation fee;

Ranking will follow on June 10 2026, the results of which will be
published on this page.

 B) Second stage (award ceremony/Gala concert). Will be held on June 14, 2026 from 13:00 in Sofia, National Palace of Culture - Singles Social Club (entrance 4). Participants in the gala concert will be invited by phone and/or e-mail.

 6. Prizes: GRAND PRIX (at the discretion of the jury for the entire competition), First GRAND, First, Second and Third prizes for each age group.

All participants receive a diploma, and the laureates - medals,
statuettes or cups, which will be sent by mail to the addresses
indicated by them.

7. Applications for participation are accepted no later than June 5 2026.

It is mandatory to indicate e-mail, telephone number for feedback and mail address.

Requests by phone are not accepted.

Incomplete and incorrectly formed requests, as well as those not submitted within the specified period, will not be taken into account.

8. Participants guarantee the copyright of the audio and video materials they will use for the competition in the declarations to the participation requests.

9. Association "Evterpani" reserves the right for any kind of documentation, filming, broadcasting and distribution of materials without paying rights and compensations.

Ten Years "Note & Brush" Festival

 

On October 1, 2022 (International Music Day) at 11:30 a.m. in the Central Architect's House in Sofia, 11 "Krakra" St., Hall No. 2, the association "Evterpani" will hold another concert from the "Note and Brush" festival, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. This cycle has emerged as a tradition over the years in the Association's cultural calendar. The idea of ​​the festival, in the spirit of our activity to search for young talents in the field of arts, is to promote the activity and abilities of multifaceted talents. Holiday of Sofia, opening of "Oktoberfest

 

With faith, hope, love and wisdom on Sofia Day, despite the heavy rain and cold weather, we opened after two years the Oktoberfest festival in the garden of the "Ivan Vazov" National Theater.

Participants of the Association "Evterpani" on September 17 and 18 are:

- attractive Martin Marinov at the age of 7 performed his original song "Chiko Chik", arranged by the composer Alexander Saveliev, awarded for composition with 2nd prize from the competition in Hong Kong;

- the 13-year-old lyrical singer Iliana Yokova is a laureate of international competitions, performed the song "Stand up";

- the perfect 12-year-old Irina Mileva performed three songs, two of which were Bulgarian "Katerpino Mome" and "My Song" and a song from "Eurovision";

- the artistic sisters Kalina and Radina Angelovi, aged 16 and 14, performed the song "Friends" as a duet and 4 songs solo - "Hijo de la luna", "Who" and songs to Weeknd and Ariana Grande.

Gala Concert "Musical Night" in Burgas of the Laureates of Three Competitions - Brussels, Hongkong and Sofia

Gala concert "Musical Night" of the laureates of three competitions (in Brussels, Hong Kong and Sofia), representatives from two continents and different schools, was held in the seaside town of Burgas. A cocktail of styles and an extravaganza of sounds and mood was served in the hall of the Sea Casino. Penka Petrosovich from Brussels, organizer of concerts for Bulgarians, hosted the event.

The competition jury was chaired by a music school from Vienna, Austria.

A string orchestra from Austria performed works by Mozart to a packed house.

Yordanka Mineva from Rome, laureate for overall work from our competition "New Voices, Songs and Arts" in Sofia, performed her author's work.

Awarding the attractive 6-year-old Martin Marinov second prize for composition with his song about animals in Africa "Chico Chik"

and the fiery Kalina Avramova, as the organizer of the concert called her, with the second prize of the competition with a song from the musical "Aladdin" in the first round and "Water" in the second round with choreography by Roberta Jurova for pop singing.

The two, with music teacher Anya Kravaeva, were awarded with certificates and a medal by Nikolay Dermendzhiev from Hong Kong.

Awarding of choirs from the International Distance Vocal-Instrumental Competition "New Voices, Songs and Arts" 2022

On July 9 2022 in Nessebar, Black sea resort town of Bulgaria, on the open stage of the cultural complex "Artium" the president of association "Evterpani" Anya Kravaeva awarded Emil Minev - the conductor of choirs from Stara Zagora "Sarnena Gora" and "Rodina" with two first prizes for their participation in the online competition "New Voices, Songs and Arts" 2022 in Sofia. The ceremony took place within the festival "Pearls of Black Sea" of our partners from Art and Folk Center "Nestia".

Emil Minev was awarded with a Diploma for the arrangements of the songs of the two choirs, which he conducted with a rich repertoire and prizes from competitions at home and abroad.

Spanish art in Studio 5

In a pleasant atmosphere in Studio 5 - NPC, Sofia, the fresh puff from the paintings of the Spanish painter Rodrigues Maria Dolores - Loles was presented through the breath of songs of Manuel de Faia and Federico Garcia Lorca.

15 years Music Studio "Euterpa" and 5 years Association "Euterpani"

In September 2013 Association "Euterpani" completed five years from its creation. This year is one of the most active and successful for the Association. From September 2012 up to the same month of this year Association “Euterpani” organized and participated in 36 concerts, festivals, anniversaries, musicals, interviews and other official acts. Children with different age from Music studio “Euterpa” achieved diplomas, awards and other insignia of honor in different forum through the country. On October 05, 2013 in the head office Т.А.Й.М.С. Association "Euterpani" carried out official concert for its laureates and expressed its gratitude toward friends, colleges, parents, partners and sponsors. In a nice and ease atmosphere young alumni of Music studio "Euterpa" and guests presented again their marvellous performances.

International Art Festivals “Nestiya”

Bulgarian Art and Folklore Center “NESTIYA” and Association “EUTERPANI” work for diversification and enlargement of Bulgarian festive-ritual system. We search, keep and popularize Bulgarian and foreign live “human treasures” – unique and forgotten traditions and habits.
We organize and participate in festivals, concerts and presentations at home and abroad. Our activities are directed towards, development and popularization of instrumental, vocal and dance formations for authentic folklore, towards education, realization and integration of talented children from different ethnic groups for realization of international cultural exchange. Our work contributes for development of stable cultural tourism and the profits from it in Bulgarian resorts - Balchik, Albena, Golden sands, Sunny beach, Primorsko, Kiten and Tsarevo.
Our shows are open for different forms of arts: dance, music, theater, painting, photography, computer animation. In these acts can take part professional and amateur formations and individuals from country and abroad. Our performances are popular and voluntary and are characterized with mobility, open stage, free entrance. Our festivals continue five days (Thursday – Monday). On the first day we have technical conferences with the team leaders for the festivals’ organization. The concerts take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 20:00. During the festivals’ days Bulgarian songs and dances are learning. All our concerts start and finish with Bulgarian folk dances. On the last day (Sunday) diplomas and awards are given for best performances, costumes and Bulgarian dance “rachenitza”.

It is time for our sea summer festivals and art schools “NESTIYA – 2012”. They start in famous Bulgarian Black sea resorts – Balchik, Albena, Golden sands, Sunny beach, St. Vlas, Ravda, Primorsko, Kiten and Tsarevo.
Organizers of these forums are Bulgarian Art and Folklore Center “NESTIYA” and Association “EUTERPANI”.
Our purposes are to present and to popularize the cultural wealth and traditions of different countries, to show private achievements in many fields of arts, to establish a cultural exchange between institutions and collectives from our country and abroad.
Our activities are open for all forms of arts: dance, music, theater, fine arts, photography and computer animation. They are accompanied with festal defiles and evenings of friendship. Our scenes are built on open places, easy for participation and free entrance. Our festivals have no competition character. All participants receive diploma and presents.

ΔΙΕΘΝΗ ΦΕΣΤΙΒΑΛ ΤΟΥ ΜΑΣΚΑΡΑ, OΡEΧOΒO, BΟΥΛΓΑΡΙΑ 2011

Αγαπιταί μας φίλοι της τέχνης,

Ο Σύλλογος "ΕΥΤΕΡΠΑΝΙ" Σας προσκαλεί να πάρετε μέρος στο ΔΙΕΘΝΗ ΦΕΣΤΙΒΑΛ ΤΟΥ ΜΕΤΕΜΦΙΕΣΜΕΝΟΥ στο χωριό Όρεχοβο, Βουλγαρία στις 26 και 27 Φεβρουάριος 2011.
Το Φεστιβάλ θα διεξαχθεί στην καρδιά του βουνού Ροδόπη γιά πρώτη φορά φέτος. Στο αυτό μπορούν να συμμετάσχουν εθνικές λαΐκές χορευτικές ομάδες του μετεμφιεσμένου και συγκροτήματα του καρνάβαλου.
Οι μέτοχοι πρέπει να φτάσουν στην Σόφια η στην Φιλιπούπολη στις 25.02.2011 ως 14.00 h από που θα μεταφερθούν με λεωφορείο (εάν δεν έχουν δικό τους) στο τόπο του φεστιβάλ. Στις 26 και 27 Φεβρουάριος 2011 θα διενέργουν συναυλίες και διαδηλώσεις στη αίθουσα του αναγνωστηρίου και στους δρόμους του χωριού Όρεχοβο. Οι αναχωρήσεις των ομάδων θα γίνουν στις 27 Φεβρουάριος 2011 το απόγευμα.

Οι Σκόποι μας είναι:
- να δείξαμε τον πλούτο και τη πολυμορφία των παραδόσεων και των έθιμων των μετεμφιεσμένων και των καρναβάλιών,
- να εκλαΐκεύομε τις βουλγαρικές ήθη και έθιμα,
- να δημιουργηθεί πολιτιστική αλλαγή μεταξύ των συγκροτήματων και των χωρών μας.

Οι οργανωτές είναι: Το Βουλγαρικό Λαΐκό Κέντρο “Νεστία“, Ο Σύλλογος “Ευθερπάνι” με τη συνεργασία του Υπουργίου πολιτιστηκής, του Δημαρχείου Τσεπελάρε, της Κοινότητας Όρεχοβο και της Toυριστικής ένωσης στο Όρεχοβο.

ΣΥΝΘΗΚΕΣ ΣΥΜΜΕΤΟΧΗΣ ΣΤΟ ΦΕΣΤΙΒΑΛ:

1. Κάθε ομάδα πρέπει να συμπεριλαμβάνει ως 50 άτομα (με τους καθοδηγητές, τους χορογράφους, την όρχηστρα, τους οδηγούς).
2. Οι ομάδες πρέπει να προετοιμάζουν προγράμματα από 10 και 20 λεπτά σε CD η με όρχηστρα.
3. Οι οργανωτές θα εγκαθιστούν τους μέτοχους στο χωριό Όρεχοβο, στη Τσεπελάρε και στην ορεινή εξοχή Παμπόροβο (κρεββάτι, 3 φαγητά σε μέρα, γιατρική εξυπηρέτηση). Οι μέτοχοι θα πρέπει να ενημερώσουν εάν έχουν κάποια ειδική δίαιτα η απαιτήσεις του φαγητού (χορτοφαγία). Όλοι οι μέτοχοι πρέπει να έχουν υγειονομική ασφάλεια.
4. Τα οδοιπορικά ως τον τόπο του φεστιβάλ πρέπει να λαμβάνουν απο τους μετόχους.
Οι οργανωτές θα πληρώσουν τον καύσιμο των ομάδων με δικά τους λεωφορεία γιά την απόσταση απο το ξενοδοχείο ως τον τόπο των παραστάσεων.
Για τις ομάδες οι οποίες ταξιδεύουν με αεροπλάνο το λεωφορείο θα έχει φυλάσσει και θα είναι πληρωμένο από τους οργανωτές. Εάν οι μέτοχοι θέλουν να κάνουν εκδρομές έξω από τον τόπο του φεστιβάλ πρέπει να πληρώσουν 90 ευρό σε μέρα για το λεωφορείο.
5. Οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να στέλνουν αίτηση συμμετοχής με το ε-μαιλ στη μορφή την οποία εμείς στέλνουμε. Οι αιτήσεις πρέπει να έρθουν όχι αργότερα από 7 μέρες πριν την αρχή του φεστιβάλ.

6. Ο καθένας μέτοχος θα πρέπει να πληρώσει:

Ξενοδοχείο (** η ***) 50 Eυρό γιά άτομο γιά όλη την περίοδο.


* Σε κάθε 20 άτομα, ένας είναι δωρεάν.
* 30% του τέλους συμμετοχής πρέπει να προκαταβάλλει όχι αργότερα από 10 μέρες πριν την αρχή του φεστιβάλ και να στέλει στο:

* Τα επόμενα 70% θα πληρώσθουν όταν οι μέτοχοι φθάνουν στον τόπο του φεστιβάλ.

7. Κάθε ομάδα πρέπει να φέρει εθνική σημαία.
8. Όλοι οι μέτοχοι μπόρουν να φέρνουν δώρα, ενθύμια, χαρίσματα.

ΣΥΜΠΛΗΡΩΜΑΤΙΚΕΣ ΜΕΡΕΣ:

1. Κάθε ομάδα/μέτοχος μπορεί να έρθει πριν την αρχή και να παραμένει μετά τον τέλο του φεστιβάλ όσο μέρες θέλει στη Σόφια, στη εξοχή Παμπόροβο η οπουδήποτε θέλει και οι οργανωτές θα τον τακτοποιήσουν στο κανονικό ξενοδοχείο / σπίτι επισκεπτών.
2. Κάθε ομάδα πρέπει να πληρώσει:

Ξενοδοχείο (** η ***) 20 Eυρό γιά άτομο για κάθε συμπληρωματική μέρα.

• Πυρινή φιέστα – /19.00 – 20.00/ πύρινες τελετές στη πλατεία μπροστά στον πολιτιστικό κέντρο

Η Δεύτερη μέρα - 27.02.2011

• Παρέλαση των συγκροτήματων του μετεμφιεσμένου – /10.00 - 14.00/ στους δρόμους του χωριού Όρεχοβο και διαδηλώσες του καρναβαλιού στο στάδιο του χωριού.

INTERNATIONAL MUMMER FESTIVAL, OREHOVO, BULGARIA 2011

Dear friends of arts,

We have the pleasure to invite you to take part in the INTERNATIONAL MUMMER FESTIVAL in the village of Orehovo ,BULGARIA on 26, 27 February 2011.
The Festival will be held in the heart of Rhodope Mountains for a first year. In this event can take part national mummer, folklore and carnival dancing ensembles and groups.
The participants are supposed to arrive in Sofia, or Plovdiv on 25.02.2011 till 14.00 h from where will be transported by bus to the place of the Festival. On 26th and 27th February 2011 there will be performances in the Cultural Hall and on the streets of the village Orehovo. The departure of the groups will be on 28th February 2011 after breakfast.

Purposes of our event are to:
- present the carnival and mummer wealth and variety;
- popularize Bulgarian arts and traditions;
- establish a cultural exchange between institutions and collectives from our country and abroad.

The organizers are: Bulgarian Art and Folklore Centre “Nestia”- Sofia, Association “Evterpani”, Balkan alliance of folklore, Bulgarian Folklore Cooperation “Nestia”, Producer’s house “Kukeri” and with the support of Ministry of Culture, Municipality of Chepelare, Municipality of Orehovo and Tourist Association in Orehovo.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE FESTIVAL:

1. Each group/participant has to be up to 50 persons (including group leaders, choreographers, orchestra, drivers etc.).
2. The groups/participants should prepare 10 and 20 minutes programs accompanied by play-back CD or a live orchestra.
3. The organization committee will accommodate the participants in the village Orehovo, Chepelare and resort Pampororvo (sleeping, 3 meals a day, medical service). The participants should inform if there is any special diet or food requirements (vegetarians). All participants should have medical insurance.
4. The travel costs to and from Sofia should be covered by the participants.
The organization Committee will grant a fuel to each group, which comes with its own bus, for the distance from the hotel to the places of performances.
For the groups which come by plane a bus will be reserved and covered by the Festival’s Committee. In case the participants want to go to excursions out of Festival’s site, should pay 90 euro for bus transportation per day.
5. The participants have to send application form for participation, pictures and other advertising materials by mail. All applications should be received not later then 7 days before the festival starts, by fax or e-mail.
6. Each participant should pay:

Hotel (** or ***) 50 Euro per person for the whole period.

* For each 20 persons, one is free.
* 30% of the participation fee has to be prepaid not later than 10 days before the event starts and sent to:

* The other 70% should be paid when the participants arrive.
* Payment after the above mentioned date will not be accepted.
* Exceptions from the above mentioned conditions are possible only after a decision of the Festival’s Organization Committee.
7. Each group should bring its national flag.
8. All participants can bring souvenirs and/or СDs.

EXTRA DAYS:

1. Each participant can come before the “date of arriving” and stay after the festival extra days in Sofia, the resort Pamporovo or elsewhere he/she wants as The Organization committee will accommodate in a appropriate hotel/guests-house.
2. During the extra days, the groups which come by plane should pay 90 euro per day for bus transportation.
3. Each group should pay:

Hotel (** or ***) 20 Euro per person for each extra day

• Mummer’s Scene - /10.00 - 17.00 h/ in the Cultural Hall of village Orehovo. There will be presentations and performances for each group, presentation of habits, rituals, dances, fashion-shows;
• Concert program - /18.00 – 19.00 h/ in the Cultural Hall of village Orehovo;
• Fire fiesta - /19.00 – 20.00 h/ fire rituals on the square in front of the Cultural Hall;

Second day – 27.02.2011

•Parade of mummer ensembles – /10.00 - 14.00 h/ defile on the streets of village Orehovo and carnival demonstrations in the village stadium.

INTERNATIONAL CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL OF ARTS SOFIA 2010

TALENT'S SCENE - PRODUCER ASSOCIATION "EUTERPANI"

PROGRAM

1. Child’s Fiesta (10.30 – 12.30 a.m.) – many humour, prices, presents, performances of groups and actors from the kindergartens and schools, meeting between Santa Claus and Jack Frost, child’s carnival, child’s show of Producer House “Kukeri”.
2. Talent’s Scene (13.00 – 15.30 p. m.) – author Mrs. Ania Kravaeva. Guests will be composers, producers, musicians, editors, and media. Participate talent children and teenagers in different parts of arts, laureates from competitions and festivals in the country and abroad. There may be individual and group performances – singing and dancing (duration up to 4 minutes).
3. Folklore merry-go-round (16.00 – 19.00 p. m.) – participate folklore groups – dancers, singers, instrumental, theatrical, for authentic folklore, rituals and traditions for the Christmas Eve, Christmas, Stefan’s Day, New Year, Vasil’s Day (duration up to 15 minutes for each ensemble).
4. Exhibition-competition – performance of ritual breads, meals, Christmas presents, objects, works of arts.
Entrance for parents and companions – 2 euro (tickets are for all day long).
Child cover – 5 euro (including artistic program, presents, win in a lottery).

The Festival will be on 27 and 29 December 2010 in The National Palace of Culture - Hall 11.

Before that Christmas holidays for children will be on:
18.12.2010 - High Institute for Architecture and Construction Hall;
19.12.2010 - Hall "Sredets" (park "Vl. Zaimov");

Between Christmas and New Year

Dear friends of arts,

We have the pleasure to invite you to take part in the INTERNATIONAL CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL OF ARTS - 2010 in the city of Sofia from 27 to 29 December 2010.

The Festival will be held in Sofia for a sixth year. Every year there are many participants from Bulgaria and foreign countries.
In this event can take part folklore, classical and modern dancing and vocal ensembles and groups, soloists and instrumentalists from all over the world.
The participants are supposed to arrive in Sofia on 26.12.2010 till 14.00 h. On 27th and 28th December 2010 there are performances in Hall 11 of the National palace of culture, Sofia. The departure of the groups will be on 29th December 2010 after breakfast.

Purposes of our art events are to:
- present the folklore wealth and traditions of the whole world;
- show private achievements in different fields of arts;
- popularize Bulgarian arts and traditions;
- establish a cultural exchange between institutions and collectives from the country and abroad.

The organizers are: Bulgarian Art and Folklore Centre “Nestia”- Sofia, Balkan alliance of folklore, Bulgarian Folklore Cooperation “Nestia”, Producer’s house “Kukeri”, Association “Evterpani”, and with the support of Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Culture, Municipality of Sofia.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE FESTIVAL:

1. Each group/participant has to be up to 50 persons (including group leaders, choreographers, orchestra, drivers etc.).
2. The groups/participants should prepare 10 and 20 minutes programs accompanied by play-back CD or a live orchestra.
3. The organization committee will accommodate the participants1 in the city of Sofia (sleeping, 3 meals a day, medical service). The participants should inform if there is any special diet or food requirements (vegetarians). All participants should have medical insurance.
4. The travel costs to and from Sofia should be covered by the participants.
The organization Committee will grant a fuel to each group, which comes with its own bus, for the distance from the hotel to the places of performance.
For the groups which come by plane, the bus will be reserved and covered by the Festival’s Committee. In case the participants want to go to excursions out of Festival’s city, should pay 90 euro for bus transportation per day.
5. The participants have to send application form for participation, pictures and other advertising materials by mail. All applications should be received not later then 40 days before the festival starts, by fax or e-mail.
6.Each participant should pay:

Hotel (** or ***) 65 Euro per person for all period
Students’ dormitory / Hostel 54 Euro per person for all period

* For each 20 persons, one is free.
* 30% of the participation fee has to be prepaid not later than 30 days before the event starts.
* The other 70% should be paid when the participants arrive.
* Payment after the above mentioned date will not be accepted.
* Exceptions from the above mentioned conditions are possible only after a decision of the Festival’s Organization Committee.
7. Each group should bring its national flag.
8. All participants can bring souvenirs and/or СDs.

EXTRA DAYS:

1. Each participant can stay extra days in Sofia or come before the date, fixed by organization Committee as “date of arriving”. The organization committee will accommodate the participants in the city of Sofia.
2. During the extra days, the groups which come by plane should pay 90 euro per day for bus transportation.
3. Each group should pay:

Hotel (** or ***) 21 Euro per person for each extra day
Students’ dormitory / Hostel 18 Euro per person for each extra day

Autumn Festival

On 12 October 2010 at the Amphitheater in front of National Palace of Culture Association “Euterpani” with vocal pedagogue Ania Kravaeva and Association “Arte Libero” with vocal pedagogue Galia Pavlova organized Autumn festival. In the program was musical, pop and jazz.

Festival in Golden Sands

On 6, 7 and 8 August 2010 in the Bulgarian resort “Golden Sands” Association “Euterpani” organized International folklore festival with the participation of dance formations from Greece, Hungary and Bulgaria. There were concerts and in the center of town Balchik.

Festivals in Sunny Beach

On 23-25 July and on 13-15 August 2010 in the center of the Bulgarian resort “Sunny Beach” Association “Euterpani” organized International folklore festivals with the participation of dance and vocal formations from Greece, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Hungary and Bulgaria. There were presentations and in the center of near-by resort St. Vlas.
