Association „Euterpani” organizes concerts with art content
in the field of folklore, classic, pop music, fine arts and crafts. Every year through the period June –
September it takes part in the organization and the implementation of series of art festivals in famous Bulgarian resorts,
towns and villages with the participation of dance and vocal formations
from country and abroad. The idea is to expand and enrich the cultural program at the Bulgarian resorts, to involve the surrounding villages and the local population more closely with their participation, to show the possibilities, diversity and beauty of our way of life and culture.
The concerts and festivals organized by the Association are for the most part charitable. Participants in them are children, youth and adults from the country, laureates of national and international competitions and festivals.
The Association maintains regular relations with the National History Museum, Sofia. For many years held concerts on the territory of the museum for Christmas, New Year, the Annunciation and the Feast of Sofia. A tradition was created to mark significant dates from the Bulgarian cultural calendar through concert events of the association. Until 2016, "Evterpani" Association was a partner in the EMEE project ("Eurovision. Museums present Europe"). The main idea of the project is to make museums more and more accessible, to present the exhibits in them not only in a regional and national, but also in a European context, and to make the public's participation in the overall process more active. It also develops creative approaches to attract the public and tries to win over a larger number of people who generally do not visit the museum by engaging and activating the visitor.
The Association has been a partner of the National Polytechnic Museum in Sofia since 2014. In connection with the 60th anniversary of the museum in May, the association "Evterpani" participated in the "European Night of Museums" and in the cycle "Family Saturday" of NPTM, dedicated to "Sounds and Music".
